This Privacy Policy explains how AskPractice Live Interview Lab, including the AskPractice Chrome extension, handles information used for job tracking, interview practice, resume coaching, and related features.

Chrome extension summary The extension reads visible job posting content only after you click Import. It imports the job title, company name, job description text, and source URL into AskPractice Live Interview Lab so you can save the job and practice against it.

Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, AskPractice Live Interview Lab may store workspace data you provide, including:

Resumes, career stories, skills, templates, notes, and interview practice history.
Job descriptions, job titles, company names, source URLs, and job-tracking notes.
Typed or recorded interview answers and transcripts that you submit for coaching.
Account information needed to provide the service, such as email address and account status.

Chrome Extension Data

The Chrome extension handles website content from a supported job page only when you initiate an import. It does not collect your general browsing history, monitor tabs in the background, log keystrokes, collect passwords, collect payment information, collect health information, collect personal communications, or collect precise location.

The extension may use the active tab URL to confirm the page is supported and to save the source URL with the imported job description.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide user-facing product features, including:

Saving and organizing job descriptions.
Generating interview questions, hints, scoring, and coaching notes.
Helping compare job descriptions against resumes, skills, and career stories.
Maintaining workspace state, account access, security, diagnostics, and support.

AI Providers

Uploaded, pasted, imported, or typed content may be sent to AI providers only to provide requested product features such as resume coaching, job description analysis, interview hints, answer scoring, and document generation.

Sharing and Sale of Data

We do not sell resume content, job-search content, interview-practice content, or Chrome extension data. We do not use Chrome extension data for advertising, retargeting, or interest-based ads. We may share information only as needed to provide the service, operate infrastructure, comply with law, protect security, or respond to your support requests.

Storage and Security

In production, imported job data and app workspace data are transmitted over HTTPS. Workspace persistence uses the storage configured for the deployment. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Your Choices

You choose what content to paste, upload, record, or import. You can remove saved jobs, resumes, notes, and practice history from your workspace. For privacy or data requests, contact us at michael@migdol.net.
